With only days left before the election, I urge you to vote for Donald Trump for President.
Trump may not be the ideal candidate, but he will grow into the job. The man has made all of the mistakes of someone who never intended to be a politician, and he has been making all of the mistakes of a neophyte politician - but unfortunately, doing so in the national spotlight of the run for the Presidency.
He has made all of the classic mistakes I have seen many times, not only as a non-politician taking his first jump into a new profession, but also as a businessman used to being in command, who now must _convince_ rather than give orders.
But he is learning, and learning quickly. That he is a fast learner is evident, and just as true, he sure did jump into the biggest frying-pan there is, where you must learn and react very quickly in any case, just to survive.
Trump will grow into the job; he has the makings of a _great_ President, but he will certainly be a good one.
Hillary, as is evident, is as corrupt and wicked and destructive as they come. How she ever grew to such prominence in the Democratic Party says a lot about how far it has fallen in its left-wing pursuits.
Trump will grow into the job, and both through his efforts and as a role-model, will be a stimulus to American growth and freedom. But Hillary will be a drag on this country. Hillary will destroy it beyond any capability of ever getting it back. The parallels with the downfall of the Roman Empire are unmistakeable - including massive immigrations of people who lacked education and did not understand its Rule of Law.
I know there are those who think that Trump is not everything they would hope for or want, that he has his deficiencies. In their minds, it is either all, or none - and therefore they will vote for Hillary (or for a third-party candidate, or not vote at all, which is the same thing).
As I noted above, in America's erosion and destruction there is no recovery. Whatever ideals you may have, voting for Hillary dooms at least three hundred years or more of your descendents to the misery and hopelessness of a Dark Ages of cultural decline, with no way of getting it back.
In politics, there is no such thing as getting all you want, just as there is no such thing as one, final, decisive battle to be won.
In politics, vote for the best available who can win, work with him to improve our world beyond what he might have intended, and then keep working for the next stair-step after that. It is a never-ending effort - of baby steps and two-steps-forward-one-step-back. The Democrats have always known this, and acted accordingly; they never give up, they never relent. That is not ideology, just the right way to act if you really want to win.
The right next step is to vote for Donald Trump on November 8th.

TRUMP From Gettysburg, PA: "We will drain the swamp in Washington, D.C., and replace it with a new government - of, by and for the people," Mr. Trump said in Gettysburg, Pa., a site he chose because of Lincoln's historic address there and which he said reflected his similar goal of unifying the country.
"I'm asking the American people to rise above the noise and clutter of our broken politics and to embrace that great faith and optimism that has always been the central ingredient in the American character, and there is nothing better or stronger than the American character," the New York businessman said.
Mr. Trump said that American voters faced a clear choice in the election between his promise of change and Mrs. Clinton's promise of continuing the status quo, which he said was responsible for America's economic malaise, unending wars, skyrocketing national debt and crumbling infrastructure.
"Hillary Clinton is not running against me. She is running against change and she is running against all the American people and all the American voters," said Mr. Trump.

Watch the 2nd Presidential debate 9:00 p.m. Eastern time
Here is Donald Trump's statement on Facebook yesterday:
Here is my statement.
I've never said I'm a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I'm not. I've said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me, know these words don't reflect who I am.
I said it, it was wrong, and I apologize.
I've travelled the country talking about change for America. But my travels have also changed me. I've spent time with grieving mothers who've lost their children, laid off workers whose jobs have gone to other countries, and people from all walks of life who just want a better future. I have gotten to know the great people of our country, and I've been humbled by the faith they've placed in me. I pledge to be a better man tomorrow, and will never, ever let you down.
Let's be honest. We're living in the real world. This is nothing more than a distraction from the important issues we are facing today. We are losing our jobs, we are less safe than we were 8 years ago and Washington is broken.
Hillary Clinton, and her kind, have run our country into the ground.
I've said some foolish things, but there is a big difference between words and actions. Bill Clinton has actually abused women and Hillary has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims. We will discuss this more in the coming days.
See you at the debate on Sunday.
These are the words of someone who (1) until recently had not learned the skills needed for a life in politics, and (2) has the humility to admit when he makes a mistake, learn from it, and be a better person going forward. These are the words of someone who has the makings to be one of America's greatest Presidents.
So who will you vote for?
The one who has an underlying idealism, of which he is forever in pursuit?
Or the cynical predator, who lives day-to-day intent on what she can simply take?
Sex sells! Sex sells! Sex sells!
sex! - locker room language.
sex! - conspiracy, accessory before and after the fact, aiding and abetting.
- joking about the time she helped a 41-year-old man escape accountability for raping a 12-year-old girl. Then doing it again for Bill - repeatedly. It's her best skill.
sex! - but what kind?
sex! - rape, groping.
And yet here's a guy still
focusing on the real issues
chairman of the Campaign for Working Families, said
Trump's "grossly inappropriate language" does not change the choice facing the country in the Nov. 8 election and that "I continue to support the Trump-Pence ticket."
"Hillary Clinton is committed to enacting policies that will erode religious liberty, promote abortion, make our country less safe, and leave our borders unprotected."

TRUMP TAXES EXPLAINED:
So Trump's business lost a billion dollars in 1995. Hillary is saying because of that he is not paying "his fair share" Of taxes for other years. Hillary is either lying again or she is not too bright.
A loss means he met payroll, paid labor burden taxes, electric, heat and all other expenses to the amount of a billion dollars.
Trump could have shut down and laid all the employees off and not lost the billion dollars. Many businesses did that.
Saving the business and spending that billion dollars saved his employee's jobs which did more for them than sending taxes to Washington for some politician to help one of their donors.
The deduction he took works like this. (net operating loss carryover). Lets say a business makes a 50,000 profit year 1 and looses 100,000 in year 2; makes another 50,000 profit in year 3; overall, zero profit.
If the net operating loss deduction carryover (that Trump took) was not allowed, that business would have to pay taxes on 100,000 when they actually made nothing, so they would have to borrow to pay the taxes and end up bankrupt.
People with money to invest in jobs or services for the community would not take the risk if this (fair) deduction were not allowed. The Clinton campaign is showing how little they know about economics and taxes. So Trump is not making any money off this, he is just breaking even.

This election is unlike any other in our nation's history. Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election.
In Cleveland, I urged voters, "please, don't stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket whom you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution."
After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.
I've made this decision for two reasons. First, last year, I promised to support the Republican nominee. And I intend to keep my word.
Second, even though I have had areas of significant disagreement with our nominee, by any measure Hillary Clinton is wholly unacceptable - that's why I have always been #NeverHillary.
Six key policy differences inform my decision. First, and most important, the Supreme Court. For anyone concerned about the Bill of Rights - free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment - the Court hangs in the balance. I have spent my professional career fighting before the Court to defend the Constitution. We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue. Trump, in contrast, has promised to appoint justices "in the mold of Scalia."
For some time, I have been seeking greater specificity on this issue, and today the Trump campaign provided that, releasing a very strong list of potential Supreme Court nominees - including Sen. Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice - and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list. This commitment matters, and it provides a serious reason for voters to choose to support Trump.
Second, Obamacare. The failed healthcare law is hurting millions of Americans. If Republicans hold Congress, leadership has committed to passing legislation repealing Obamacare. Clinton, we know beyond a shadow of doubt, would veto that legislation. Trump has said he would sign it.
Third, energy. Clinton would continue the Obama administration's war on coal and relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry. Trump has said he will reduce regulations and allow the blossoming American energy renaissance to create millions of new high-paying jobs.
Fourth, immigration. Clinton would continue and even expand President Obama's lawless executive amnesty. Trump has promised that he would revoke those illegal executive orders.
Fifth, national security. Clinton would continue the Obama administration's willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism. She would continue importing Middle Eastern refugees whom the FBI cannot vet to make sure they are not terrorists. Trump has promised to stop the deluge of unvetted refugees.
Sixth, Internet freedom. Clinton supports Obama's plan to hand over control of the Internet to an international community of stakeholders, including Russia, China, and Iran. Just this week, Trump came out strongly against that plan, and in support of free speech online.
These are six vital issues where the candidate's positions present a clear choice for the American people.
If Clinton wins, we know - with 100% certainty - that she would deliver on her left-wing promises, with devastating results for our country.
My conscience tells me I must do whatever I can to stop that.
We also have seen, over the past few weeks and months, a Trump campaign focusing more and more on freedom - including emphasizing school choice and the power of economic growth to lift African-Americans and Hispanics to prosperity.
Finally, after eight years of a lawless Obama administration, targeting and persecuting those disfavored by the administration, fidelity to the rule of law has never been more important.
The Supreme Court will be critical in preserving the rule of law. And, if the next administration fails to honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights, then I hope that Republicans and Democrats will stand united in protecting our fundamental liberties.
Our country is in crisis. Hillary Clinton is manifestly unfit to be president, and her policies would harm millions of Americans. And Donald Trump is the only thing standing in her way.
A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don't want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him.
sounds like a great endorsement of Trump, to me...
